Jamie's Italian and Moose Coffee

Another food post! Finally gave Jamie's a try after being in Manchester for 5 months plus. 

       Squid & Mussel Spaghetti Nero

I was keen of trying the squid ink spaghetti. Been seeing it on instagram quite often. Glad I finally tried it. It pretty much taste like normal pasta. There is no distinctive taste of the squid ink. Not sure if squid ink pasta should actually taste normal. Overall, I find it quite good. Would definitely order it again if I pay them a visit. 

Fresh Crab Bruschetta

Don't order this. It is pretty much tasteless and the portion is really small. Totally not worth the price. I ordered this because I was craving for crab meat. But it was so disappointing. 

Chocolate, Pear & Honeycomb Pavlova

I think the dessert is just alright. Nothing to shout about. Not too bad but not too good either. 

Spot the long tray across the table. My friend ordered that. Couldnt take an individual shot as it was to big to fit into my camera frame.

Lamb Chops Scottaditta

17.95 pounds

Had a bite of the lamb. It was tender and quite good. However, my friend commented on the sides provided. He said the taste of the onion was too overpowering when he ate it with the lamb. 

The ambiance is really good here though. But I think the food here is just average.

After eating lunch at Jamie's, we went to Moose Coffee for pancakes. Yes, we eat a lot. 

Moose Apple and Homemade Salted Caramel Pancakes

We ordered the Moose Apple and Homemade Salted Caramel Pancakes. I find this pretty normal only. The pancakes are not fluffy. Its more to the starchy type of pancake? I am not sure but does all pancakes in UK have the starchy type of texture? I personally prefer the fluffy type of pancakes. But the portion is really huge.
